Mamma Margherita House

The Holiday House for young people and families

Mother Margherita was Don Bosco’s mother. He came to stay with him in Turin as soon as he could leave the rest of the family in Castelnuovo d’Asti. It was the mother of the first boys welcomed to Valdocco. Our hospitality structure is dedicated to you, for groups of young people, children, families, individuals.

Additional information:

Accommodation in hostel: It is reserved for groups and families; we guarantee that in the same room we will not arrange people from different groups, unless a specific request is made. Those responsible must ensure that all the members of the group maintain a behavior and behavior suited to the environment and to the necessities of cohabitation with other groups in the neighboring rooms.
From 1 June 2018 the booking of Mamma Margherita House will be for floors. Only one group can book all the first floor (90 beds), all the second floor (45 beds), the third floor (10 beds)
Kitchen: the self-managed kitchen and the refectory will be used by a single group, upon reservation
Breakfast: breakfast is not included in the “Holiday House” rate. You can consume it at the Bar of the Sanctuary paying it separately. For large groups (at least 30 people) you can book it at the Refreshment of the Basilica.

Rules, Check-in and Check-out:

The City of Turin has established the tourist tax: € 1.80 per person for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
Arrival (Check-in): rooms are available from 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. Since we do not have a concierge service h. 24, we recommend to communicate the arrival time, in particular communicate any delays with respect to the agreed time, in order to guarantee the reception service (+39 011.52241). Check-in will not be possible after 10:45 p.m. .
Departure (Check-out): rooms must be vacated by 9:30 a.m. on the day of departure. It is possible to use the room until 3:00 p.m. on the day of departure with an addition of € 10.00 and up to 7.00 p.m. with an addition of € 20.00 for each room.
As a House for Holidays, to accommodate the numerous requests, in our hospitality you can only stay for very short periods, 2/3 nights at most
